Vile! Vile! Vile!

Did I say vile?

I don’t know why I listen to people. Bottom line; Fat Free Cheese is not a food. Period. End of story. Stop trying to make believe it is, because it is not.

So I listened to someone once again. She swore up, down, left, right and sideways that this Fat Free Smart Beat cheese was so good and I would never know the difference. So it was on sale. So I bought it. Did I say vile?

I wanted to go puke!

Panic Has Occurred

Panic has occurred! Yep, summer is here and people are asking me how “I” am going to get them Skinny. “I” am not getting anyone skinny. I can get you to think. I can offer you ideas. I can share successes and train wrecks of others. But until you decide you’re sick and tired of being overweight, uncomfortable and unhealthy, there is not a damn thing I can do for you. Nothing.

So when I am sitting on my deck eating dinner and you come over and ask me how I am going to get you Skinny; a good place to start might be looking at what is on my plate and comparing to what you just inhaled! And when you make a nasty comment about my grilled chicken with orange marmalade, marinated grilled veggies and corn on the cob as “this is what I’m going to have to eat” food, it all makes sense to me why I saw your butt crack when you bent over to pick up your keys.

And that my friend is what happened last night. And that my friend was not a pleasant sight.

Kayaking Around the Lake

I was out kayaking around the lake the other day. It was a warm, sunny day and I decided my arms were in need of a little workout. So a-kayaking I went.

Lots of people were out on the water, on their docks, or in their yards. I came across some neighbors and we started chatting. John, (not his real name; some of my neighbors read this and I don’t want to hurt feelings) made a comment about the weight of another neighbor - a derogatory comment!

So I responded with, “Well you look like you put on a few this winter.”

Then his wife chimed in. “Yeah, he has.”

John then acknowledged that yes, he got “fat” and he should do something about it.

Then his wife responded with, “Well we’re discussing it.”

I said good-bye and rowed on home.

But then I got thinking.

Discussing it? What is this discussing it crap? You’re fat. You say you’re fat and you’re “discussing” it? It’s time to move past discussion and on to action. You can be fat, potentially unhealthy and maybe even dead! Or you can do something about it today!!!! Or your family can discuss how young you “were” at your funeral.

Don’t you, the reader, agree? Are you still thinking about when you’re going to take control of your health?

Another Diet Resource

Did you ever stop and think about all the resources and opportunities out there to help with you Battle of the Bulge? There are gyms, classes, meetings, support groups, food lines, websites and so much more. Well I think I stumbled on another resource just yesterday……………….

I bought a new refrigerator. It seems to have less space. Less food in less space means less you. But the best thing……………….it came equipped with a toy!!!!! That water dispenser thingy!

Go drink some water right now!
