St. Pat's Day and the Catholic Church

There is good news for those of you observing Lent! The Catholic Church is allowing meat today!

 

Yes, seeing as St. Patrick’s Day fell on a Friday this year, it was decided that this Friday, March 17^th, would be exempt from the traditional Friday abstinence of meat. Hooray! Pounds of corned beef for everyone!

 

Well I guess it is better you eat meat than chocolate?
